Fine motor skills

are required to provide strength and control for the muscles in our hands.

We offer kids a variety of enjoyable activities to help them enlarge their abilities.

Children learn to handle different materials as they improve their fine motor skills. They will eventually apply these abilities to enhance their ability to dress, undress, eat with utensils, little chef game and use tools like crayons, paintbrushes, scissors, and pencils.

Fine Motor Skills exercises occasionally flow easily into our Numeracy program to stimulate and advance mathematical thinking. Playdough, buttons, and busy boards are manipulative tools that help kids strengthen their hand muscles.

When teaching Fine Motor Skills, we urge teachers to follow the students’ interests and take advantage of each playtime as an opportunity to enhance the students’ development.

Gross motor skills

Gross Motor Skills are required to move the large muscles of our bodies.
All age groups are going to develop their laterality (the distinction between left and right), balance and spatial awareness abilities. All age groups are also going to enhance their knowledge of their body’s position and its movement possibilities as they exercise gross motor skills through various activities like Yoga, PE classes, Zumba, water activities and riding tracks.
